Formulated for use with Blacklight Smart Developer. Off the scalp: Mixing ratio is 1:1.5 (harder texture) to 1:3 (softer texture) depending on desired consistency; the recommended ratio is 1:2. Depending on degree of lightening desired, choose one of the following Blacklight Developers: 20 vol. (6%), 30 vol. (9%) or 40 vol. (12%). Processing time is up to 60 minutes, but varies depending on the degree of lightening desired and the condition of the hair. On the scalp: Do not use a developer higher than 20 vol. (6%). Apply on dry hair. Check frequently to avoid over-processing. Upon completion, rinse hair with lukewarm water until water runs clear.
