You really need to put quite a bit to get a good effect, otherwise it will feel heavy and leave a residue on the hair. It has a nice smell but does not affect allergy sufferers. It really dries my hair fast. I felt like I could style my hair and not have to apply multiple products to reduce my baby hair. Will buy again
